Pemberton

Drove home today. Still feeling crappy and congested. Hard to leave Jenn and the boys. They grow so fast and I will miss them.

The Duffy Lake Hwy between Lilloette and Pemberton is very beautiful. It is a twisty Hwy and can be slow. There is a few pull offs so site seerers can pull off and let non tourists drive through.

I would not recomend this Hwy in the winter. It is quite snowy and even though they put down a lot of gravel, it is still trecherous.

Gassed up in Kamloops. Good thing because the gas is only $1.07/ltr and it is still $1.29 in Vernon. I can quite figure out why there is a 22 cent difference per litre.

Arrived on Sunday, May ??/11. The boys were glad to see us. They are getting so big. River talks a blue streak and is so cute. You would never believe that he is only 2 yrs old. Weather cold and rainy. We spent the rest of the day going through the agenda. Times and places for daycare and school.
The boys have a good sense of humor and Cliff gives them a bad time all the time.

Monday - I have a horrible cold now. Usually the ColdFX clicks in and I dont feel too bad, but not this time. It is rainy and cold again today. Took the boys to daycare and school, then had a 3 hour nap. River was upset that his mom and dad weren't there, so I told him I would bring Zavin to pick him up and that seemed to help. Still feel crappy so I went to the drug store for supplies. Robiussin tastes like crap! and doesnt help much. Doing a lot of sleeping when I can.

Tuesday - Not much better and it is still rainy and cold outside. Sleeping and laying in bed reading while the boys are away.

Wednesday - No daycare and Cliff looked after River while I had a nap. He was such a good boy, played by himself in his room with his cars and "guys". The weather was better so when I picked up Zavin, I let him and River play in the play ground for an hour. Went home, picked up Cliff and went to McDonalds for supper. Ya, I guess I have to do it once a visit but only once! haha. Watched a dvd, Raiders of the Ark and then off to bed.

Thursday - Feeling a little better today. The weather is warmer, sunny and dry, finally. Jenn called and I told her not to come home until Friday. Now I am feeling better. It is a very beautiful area they live in. Lots of families and lots of kids. Small town so shopping is at a premium and not cheap. Zavin is off to his friends Max's house and River is playing in his room. He was not happy that Zavin was going with out him.
